A general surgeon with 31+ years experiences. Operating complex bariatric surgeries by advanced laparoscopic method for treating morbid obesity, including sleeve gasterectomy, bypass gasterectomy, and SASI bypass. The patients with BMI>35 in addition to comorbidity and BMI>40 with or without comorbidity are candidate for these surgeries. This procedure causes food consumption restriction, malabsorption and permanent weight loss.
Work Experiences and Honors:
More than 2200 patients had bariatric surgery by me which include:
- 500 sleeve gasterectomy,
- 1700 bypass gasterectomy
- 30 SASI bypass
Treatment Procedure:
- Primary visiting by the doctor and face-to-face interview between doctor and patient
- Initial assessment and examination including:
- Abdominal Sonography
- Endoscopy
- Checkup laboratory tests
- Evaluating patient’s condition: age, comorbidity, familiar history of disease, nutritional habits, Excess weight, unmoral clinical findings
- Choosing the appropriate type of surgery
